M crouch should be back, so could replace thommo, but I doubt it will happen.

Hopefully Laird is ok to replace vb. Think it may be time to try Kelly instead of Cheney.
You would think with an ankle, he'll be given a game first in the SANFL

Why? He wouldn't be lacking match fitness like brouch!

Either he is ready & plays afl or he is not & has another week off.

Crazy to bring laird back via the sanfl after a small layoff.

had 3 weeks of no running ......and you want to bring him back against GWS, the fastest side in the AFL?

nah nah .....i was just giving you credit for Brad being out ;)
If I had any pull, brouch would not have come back for Lyons - given more games in the Sanfl - & likely back in the Afl team this week or next with sound match fitness.

Has been completely mismanaged imo.

Yet you wanted to play brouch who had hardly played a consecutive game in 18 months!

Depends on Laird's conditioning, but 3 weeks isn't massive.

A few kicks inside 50 that hit targets from stoppages or centre bounces

He deserves another game, I'm not saying he's the answer but he deserves his chance

And I'll tell you what else this means...Sloane is being used too much as an inside midfielder when he simply does more damage when he is used more as an inside/outside midfielder, he's the one I want on the end of the handball from congestion not the one doing the heavy lifting to get maximum efficiency...JMO.

Out: Henderson, Cheney
Retire: Van Berlo, Thompson
In: Crouch x2, Laird, Kelly

Team:

B: Brown - Hartigan - Lever
HB: Smith - Talia - Laird
C: Cameron - Sloane - Seedsman
HF: Lynch - Walker - Douglas
F: Betts - Jenkins - McGovern
R: Jacobs - Crouch - Crouch
I: Milera - Atkins - Lyons - Kelly

Carrying too many downhill skiers. Would prefer to back our kids and get more games into them.

Seriously though ......if you drop him & i didn't support that view ......but what's the benefit of dropping B.Crouch for a week and then bringing him back in ......seriously what's the message or benefit of that action

B.Crouch has to miss at least 2 games IMO

We are missing Douglas so badly - he's playing but he's not run/carry kicking it so we need 2-3 Sloanes

Crouch had a full PS and had training which included and extra week as a conservative approach

Both Sloane & thommo were "rested" for considerable periods outside the centre square as we used Lyons, Betts, Cameron, milera, etc through the middle.

I would consider dropping an outside midfieldwe like Hendo, play m crouch & use Sloane & Douglas as dual outside/inside mids.

This has never been my suggestion.

Was Thommo rested outside centre bounces ......or were we experimenting and giving Milera and Cameron midfield time at AFL level?

Well one things for sure he didn't get the chance to play against a sub-par AFL team today, Central Districts would probably have been very competitive today against them?
So you don't want to answer. ;)
