Was expecting a reaming…by 10 goals considering our outs….

…we were in it for most of the day.,,

,Clear as day, MC didn’t pick the right squad

Yes agree 👍🏿 lay Crayfish or Samson and we win
Not sure what if anything Kosi brings couldn’t get to contests drops marks IMO I don’t think from what I’ve seen he’s up to it
Nank needed help..he didn’t have it

So the solution is to replace with smaller bodied, less experienced players? It would actually make our performances and reaults worse.
Your contradicting yourself now 2 weeks ago on YouTube you said you would rather see the kids in as they have more upside then some of the senior blokes killing us weekly which I totally agree with. The fact is there premiership players no excuses for there continuing mistakes and brain fades.

Then he goes back on and risks further injuring his ankle and instead of rest and icing the injury. Which is what appears to have happened. He was not subbed after injuring his ankle, with a fresh player ready to go on.
Players are always getting re strapped after similar incidents

Dare say just a decent sprain and will be right for selection next week
Don’t think we didn’t anything wrong tbh

How good was Shai and vintage Dusty tho? Was tissue box material

Dusty was working in a phone box and looked powerful.. I love how he brings others into the game but just sometimes he should be a bit more selfish in the crucial moments and just go for goal

Shai was just scintillating and 95% clinical all day, only that Brain fade chip to McIntosh (god knows wtf he was calling for it when shai was 35 out slight angle)

11 kids out there today with under 50 games of experience. 14 players on our injury list. I'm loving going to games this year and the effort but there comes a tipping point eventually. Would love us to get just a 1 month block of games with no injuries until some of the calvery comes back. I think we take a lot more out of today then the Saints !! 😉

Hopefully kmac2 is OK, we can't have the following 3 players playing based on current form. Short, pickett, McIntosh need to drop at least 2 of them.
Good point Short has flown under the radar for an experienced player been very very poor and for a so called great kick he turns the ball over more than an apple turnover
Pickett play as sub till he gets to 100 we need his offspring if any good
Kamydn well he’s Kamydyn

Shows Dimma should have played some of these kids last two years

We got closer than most of us expected
Saints kick straight and it looks much worse.

I am loving the growth of MJR who suddenly looks likes he belongs but has also been given some freedom.

Kosi is a better ruck than forward

Miller is a genuine AFL KPD. Happy to eat my words. He’s a very good player and I hope he can keep it up and even improve.

Dusty is a midfielder in this team. We don’t have the luxury of him playing forward.

Shai is a star and YZE is getting great results in his role

Brown already looks 100 gamer. He’s going to be a gun

Dow is going to be fine, he can play.

Ross is a genuine mid and he’s earned that right now

Sonsie adapting to his new role. He’s competing pretty hard

Nank is miles ahead of soldo. Haters need to shut up now

Pickett and Macca didn’t make any mistakes that last quarter like Sonsie … because they didn’t touch the friggin ball. It’s easy to go unnoticed when you aren’t anywhere near the pill.

And stop the hate on Kosi. He did a pretty good job and was serviceable in the ruck. He’s there for when injuries hammer us and that’s what happened today

Yep Pickett and Macca just don’t give us enough. And I don’t buy into the the defensive wingmen bs, they have done nothing to stymie the easy ball going into our defence over the past 3-4 seasons.

Kosi is way off it. Don’t expect the world from him but there are standards- he’s as bad as Ryan at this stage and needs to work on his game. Bring in Naismith

nank was awesome again

bolton was on early i said after his first he will kick 5 then he dishes it off and we lost momentum

he ends with 4 and we go down by a kick only playing one good qtr of footy with lots of good players out

not all bad but some of the prmrshp plyrs looked pretty cbf'd on tv angles

i think with a 10% more hungry game from the veterans we win it anyway

did we have a bathwater skulling comp at qtr time the 2nd qtr was freaking bizarre how we kicked it ootf 3 times, missed sitters, didnt even score it was crazy just sitting on 4.2.26 like in suspended animation and it was some weird arse viewing not gonna lie i was disturbed by our lairising hubris in that 2nd quarter wtf is with this cute crap when we have momentum, instead of bury em mode we hit showboat and prove how selfless you are mode and lose the fracking game

Correct, many wanting him dropped. Kids will make mistakes and he will learn from that. Remains in the side.

Can confirm this. Lacked intensity in Yr1 but was out for half the season injured with a broken hand
They were very concerned he didn’t put his head over the ball. Very concerned.
He turned that ball around in the space of 12 months.

There’s nobody else 🤣

When are McIntosh and Pickett going to be held accountable for their poor performances?

I hate having to go into bat for Sonsie as I'm clearly biased but if no one gets fingers to his kicks, he finishes with three goals and likely a match winner.
But he doesn't and everyone piles on. Think that was his 12th game and yet the expectations are crazy on a kid being played out of position.

Yet Pickett was horrendous all day and barely gets a quarter of the criticism.
Agree unless he completely loses form Sonsie plays all year he has enormous upside

So two of the three players you single out are youngsters?

Campbell was straight up bad, but this is the first game he has been. And Sonsie need games. Just like Jack Ross before him and just like Rioli, Brown, Cumberland and Campbell need now

Campbell was ok. 18 touches, 400 metres gained, 2 goal assists... Just made some poor decisions at times. Smart player, gets to the right spots, just needed some more urgency. He'll get better. I'm far less worried about him than others. At least he gets it when he is bad. Agree though, need more games into those guys you mentioned, and KMac2. Like to see Steely, Tresize, Ryan and others get games as well throughout the season.
