People need to slow down, stop and think (and breath). We can’t drop every senior player. We need some experienced blokes around the kids. And in return, they will be better. For those calling for Pickett and K Mac to be dropped while we got 14 out, i ask them, how did it wirk out for Melbourne when they delisted and traded out all the experience and went with kids? They were hopeless and it stifled the kids development. The kids look good, but they need some big bodies around them.

Start of 23 I wouldn't have been playing week in week out, Grimes, Kmac, Graham, Masnsell Pickett, and MRJ. Got a season of experince into depth on the list.

I didn't like his starting point but Yze has made us fairly competitive.


Dow & Kmac2 only injury is a plus need to changing the KPF(s) probably

Campbell who i also like made to many blunders

Kosi back to reserves does not work hard enough

Campbell was ok. 18 touches, 400 metres gained, 2 goal assists... Just made some poor decisions at times. Smart player, gets to the right spots, just needed some more urgency. He'll get better. I'm far less worried about him than others. At least he gets it when he is bad. Agree though, need more games into those guys you mentioned, and KMac2. Like to see Steely, Tresize, Ryan and others get games as well throughout the season.

I honestly reckon it's a club directive for wingers and half backs to just kick it as long as they can. It was like Seth totally changed his game from pinpointing players to going for meters gained. It might work if, you know, we had players that can mark or at least provide a contest ahead of them.

Fair bit to take out of that performance 7p off a side that ll likely win a lot of games , our structural holes cost us , insufficient marking power meant we just couldnt clunk that vital mark unless shai takes a hanger , despite that we gave ourselves plenty of opportunities and with an ounce of luck could have closed the gap even further
Defence is going very nicely , m midfield matching it , f50 is a patchwork quilt
Hope kmac2 is ok he made a difference when he came on

The smart posters on here knew that the tractor to V8 ratio would be out of sync once the genetically modified potato came straight back into the team. The serious change that needed to be made was Kmac dropped after last week. He and Pickett at 3/4 time had 25 disposals with 10 clangers. JGTI is VFL standard, Kosi is Bairnsdale standard , Pickett is a sub for hard edge when needed at the end, KMac2 should start on the park, Naismith backup for Nakkers as we lost ascendancy in the guts when he tired, Kmac is finished and Short is a female dog.
Nobody should be bagging any of our kids as they all had a crack including Sonsie and Campbell and they all have upside compared to those list cloggers mentioned.

Macca hasn’t had a single coaches vote for 44 games. Pickett for 33. They are cooked .. f*rk them off !

I’m actually quite impressed with the Tigers effort so far this season. Keep playing the young guys, bring in Cumberland, minimise defeats to under 6 goals and get a top 5 pick. If Yze can do this it will be a credit to him and a step in the right direction for the rebuild

We had Bolton pull goals out of his arse and St Kilda miss sitters, don’t sugar coat it we should’ve lost by 30+ and were lucky Martin played.

Even if we did lose by 30+, who cares? Did you see the team we had out there today? Did you honestly expect to win? The foundation of our game is pressure and it was there in spades all day. If this was 2019 I would be angry. But it's 2024. It's not our time yet.

Good point Short has flown under the radar for an experienced player been very very poor and for a so called great kick he turns the ball over more than an apple turnover

Short has been very frustrating to watch. As an experienced player i thought he's had a terrible season this far. He can't kick overruns the ball and panics.

Should have made more from that positive start, so very disappointing that we kept a team to one late goal in a half and still managed to lose. Must prioritise a KPF who can genuinely contest and has some football smarts, neither LeFau or Kozi have both. Really liked Campbell this year but he was ordinary today as was Sonsie who must learn to make the ball his intent. Pickett is horribly inconsistent and costly when he makes mistakes which are more frequent the last few seasons.

Fantastic games by Bolton, Nank, Martin and D. Rioli. When Bolton converts he is top 5 in the competition, love to see more of that.

And did we win the free kick count again, someone at AFL house isn't going to be happy.

God there is some absolutely embarrassing s**t being posted.

We had the great same intent as last week, except without 3 of our best players and on a bullshit non-AFL standard ground that made the entire game a cluster *. Some of you reeling off our kids as if they were the issue are a disgrace. At least they had their hands on the ball with the game on the line.

Our system stood up and got pipped because we’re not mature enough yet. 11 players under 50 games. Great effort.
