Problem if you finish 5th you might run into Coll / GWS / Bulldogs, none of which would be a walkover. I would rather play Brisbane than any of those sides, and potentially even Port.

Yeah dont like the idea of playing Pies first week - looks like they may be getting Howe, Degoey, trelol - maybe sidebottom ? back. Plus it looks like Cox might be finding some form haha :/. GWS and Dogs would be dangerous too. Agree that Bris or Port, even Eagles in qld or Geelong would be a much better scenario for us - then week off into prelim . Top 4 is our ticket to GF - need to beat Geelong in a couple of weeks for that to happen

They dont seem to drop games they should win at this time of year and they also seem to step up for big games when needed. Bit different to 5-10-20-30 years ago when as soon as you started to get a bit of faith they'd roll over

We'll play average to ok v Freo then watch us play like we did against the eagles v the cats. Poor old Adeladie is gonna cop a pretty much full strength Tigers team. Will be a nice way to send Tex off.

Yeah I agree with this.. do enough to beat freo with continuing to improve game style, taking the game on from Defence..

with balta, short, Baker, houli and Markov theirs no excuse not to build on moving it fast from Defence.. watch our forwards start to reap the benefits of it

Geelong will make top 4 even if we beat them. West Coast are an ordinary team away from perth and i can definitely see them dropping another game. Beat geelong and we likely will finish 3rd with Cats and Eagles 4th and 5th respectively
