I agree, Cumbo's biggest issue is he loses the game in his mind before the game. He has 0 confidence in his ability. Remember him kicking bags a few years back has all the talent just needs to build that mental toughness and confidence

Don't mind losing this season while developing players, Sonsie, Ralphsmith, Campbell, Green, Lefau, Ryan, Cumberland, Brown, Miller, Dow, McAuliffe.

That's half the team with not much experience but games like tonight help drive growth with those players and we'll see the benefit in coming years as we work out who'll make it or not.

I think he gets to the right spots to be a dangerous player but is soft and lacks composure

Dusty wound the clock back.
Bolton, Nank and HRS all excellent.

I can see Cumbos deficiencies but still think we look far more dangerous with him in the forward line.
Keep him in.

We got a lot closer than I expected so I’m relatively pleased. Pressure was good, Dusty regained some of that Dusty magic, and Balta improved our defence by 10 goals.

Ryan is delist territory. Short is a liability. Dow’s defensive spread remains abysmal (see Merrett goal). Shame for Bolton to miss a week. Lefau will be a serious second/third tall once Lynch is back.

Dow otherwise was ok I thought.
