Junior football is played in your teams jumper. The only thing that changes is the shorts for away matches.
FFS - IF 11-17 kids can work out who their teammates are why can the rest of the grown ups in the world. The media and marketing crap is just a joke.
JUST PLAY FOOTBALL
This.Instead of worrying about clash jumpers for the Grand Final, let's just worry about the prelim first. Bloody hell.

The difference is that they're not on television. On television, it looks crap if the teams are in similar colours. Other sports (eg. Soccer, greyhound racing) understand this but the AFL often struggle.
Hmmm ,,, yeah, nah mate.White jacket with yellow and black checked sash (like Fairway)

There is an issue with people who are colour blind as well, yes?The difference is that they're not on television. On television, it looks crap if the teams are in similar colours. Other sports (eg. Soccer, greyhound racing) understand this but the AFL often struggle.

Cheers mate!!The only change I would be making is buying tickets for the big dance if you dont have them already.
You guys will make it. Both GWS and WCE have travel to contend with (plus 75k+ Tigers faithful screaming). WCE away wont trouble you, and GWS have (again) been shown up as a team of champions and not a champion team in September. The Dogs got them last year by being harder at it; exactly how you blokes knocked over Geelong last week.
I'd be pretty confident of making it to the GF, and from there (if you play like you did last week) you'll give Adelaide a real run.
Jealous fells. Hopefully we'll see you at the G in a few years time in a final once we finish this rebuild we're on.
I'll be cheering for you. Its not too removed from my WAFL side, the Claremont Tigers who are half Carlton and half Richmond:
Good luck!
Cheers mate!!
Had a thought looking at that pic ... Collingwood should get sponsored by Coles ..... because Down Down

Townsend who boots his 5th goal from 4 kicks to win the game
100% hes not being dropped !You need to look at the bigger picture and understand what the coaches are doing.
George has as much chance of being dropped as Carlton have of winning this years flag.
From the Tiges site.
"RICHMOND'S small forwards know a lack of goals won't cost them their spots in the team this September as long as they keep applying the fearsome defensive pressure that rattled Geelong on Friday night.
Dan Butler, Jason Castagna and Daniel Rioli combined for just two of the Tigers' 13 goals in Friday night's win, but their defensive pressure was a standout feature in a win that has sent the Tigers through to a home preliminary final.
In a game that was played between the arcs for long periods, they still combined for 48 pressure acts, with Richmond laying 21 tackles inside 50 to Geelong's four.
Butler said the Tigers' coaches viewed goals and possessions from their small forwards as a bonus, giving the trio the freedom to focus on a defensive aspect of their games they know they can deliver every week.
"They (the coaches) just speak about playing the game and playing on our talent and to our strengths, but all they're worried about is how much pressure we put on," Butler told AFL.com.au.
"We have weeks where we have three or four touches but we apply good pressure, so that's why we stay in the team.
"We played our role pretty well (against the Cats). All we try and do is put pressure on and then if we get kicks, marks, handballs, goals that's just a bonus.
"Our main role is to put pressure on for the team and provide supports for the midfielders and backs."
Coach Damien Hardwick praised his group's defensive pressure on Friday night and the ability to create seven forward-half turnover goals against the Cats.

Piss off you Carlton piece of sh... I mean, welcome aboard the tiggy train mate, jump on back there's a spot for you and your missus.I ******* hate that ad so much. That song gives me the absolute shits!
Honestly, I saw something in your blokes last week that I havent seen since... the Dogs last year.
In the spirit of total honesty, I firstly tuned in last week expecting to see (yet another) heartbreaking Richmond loss (I mod the main board so I need to know because... well... you can imagine why). If we're being honest that club of yours has delived so very very many heartbreakers over recent years. To the point I was convinced Punt road was built on an ancient Indian burial ground or something. Yet somehow despite all that, you have the most fanatical members (and growing each year).
Hearing them in song last week going mental was amazing. I turned to my girlfriend and said three things; Firstly, imagine being there with 95k? The sound would be fantastic (she's never been anywhere else other than Subi with 30k odd). Secondly, If anyone deserves a win... its those blokes in yellow and black in the stands. Thirdly; that Martin bloke can football (I recall posting on this board a few years back in Dustys first year, that I hadnt seen as good a first year player since Judd, and that he would win a Brownlow before his career is over. Nailed it.).
I found myself in the unusual position of cheering for you to win. And also really impressed by how you went about it.
This could be a big year for you blokes. You've hit form at the right time, made top 4 when it mattered, have a pretty amazing run in the finals (all interstate clubs here on in, you're playing them all the the G in front of 75k plus fanatical supporters, and all have to travel). Youve locked in Dusty, look dangerous across every line, and have 2 x 1st rounders this year to play with later on to keep the momentum going.
I'm pretty confident this year may very well be the year of the Tiger.
The difference is that they're not on television. On television, it looks crap if the teams are in similar colours. Other sports (eg. Soccer, greyhound racing) understand this but the AFL often struggle.
I think they struggle because they use designers who just don't get it. Some of the clash jumpers are just horrid...especially those when the jumper is almost all white. (And it took a kid to redesign the Port jumper.) And I always squirm on behalf of St Kilda supporters at the shot of Baldock holding up the cup in a Collingwood jumper...I'd feel the same if we get all the way there and use that clash jumper.
