You can hear the umpires at the end of the game "Free Kick Dion Prestia...." - " Well THEN that's 50 Meters" and then Stevic, the non controlling ump, runs in "no, no, no, no...."
I've had enough of the corrupt umpiring. Yes - we we 346 points up etc etc, .. Or we could have been 600 points down - that's irrelevant. Players play to the whistle, the umpires play to the rules. They made a SERIOUS mistake (like the Rioli "bump" that started the rot)...Nankervis and Grimes were disgracefully undisciplined. I understand that - but the principle does not change. The rules are NOT applied to our club as they are for other clubs. What about the Bolton 50m last week ? Really - Such unprofessional umpiring BS.
I'll have a keen eye on selection nights in the future. If Castagna is selected, I won't be watching the game. I've already stopped attending games until these rules are removed as the game is unwatchable.
If Dimma sits on his hands and does nothing, I'll be pissed off. I'd be half tempted to drop Nankervis on that shithouse undisciplined game tonight. I hate the idea to dual captaincy, and both our captains cost us a certain win. Disgusting. Embarassing.

We were kicking everything early while the back line were holding up against their superior I50 numbers, then when they took control in the third I thought the dam wall had burst and they would run away in the 4th, but we wrestled control back again and if not for panicking and giving away stupid frees while Bolton/Dusty missing easy goals we should have won.
That will be costly in regards to top4 unless we win the next few vs Port/Geel/Carl.
Prestia would have missed anyway.. It was that horror show script playing out kind of night.

Gibcus had a mare, panicked and missed targets consistently. I love the kid has been great this year but he got beaten easily and buddy kicked 4 on him, i blame Hardwick bad match up. Ohh he did make the change in the last when buddy kicked another 2 on gibcus putting grimes on him but too late

One of Buddy’s goals was on Tarrant and he was 10m behind him.
Soldo up forward if he's resting is fine, just can't be that second tall because he won't compete for it the way Tom and Jack do. But given the Swans lost Hickey, both him and Nank should've played a lot better than they did.
