Worst captain's game of all-time just about from Papley. Offered nothing, throws his arms up when the ball doesn't get kicked to him. For a small forward, his ability to defend and tackle would have to be close to the worst in the AFL.

I didn’t think the kicking looked good at anytime. McInerney in particular was atrocious, he has to get to work on plying hard and stop the bs kicking, the one at the end going over the players head with no pressure, he ain’t as good as he thinks he is.

Weird game. Strong swirling wind to one end. Another game where the opposition has had the 'pressure' guage thing Fox has had up in the 'elite' area for two quarters (or more for Richmond). You can definitely say we're susceptible to pressure. Though, in the team's defence, when the opposition can't maintain it we get on top quickly. If we'd taken the most of early chances with the wind, this would have been snuffed out a lot faster.

We were good the first 15 minutes, but after Eagles kicked 2 goals in 3-4 minutes, it was a shitshow from there on up until Roberts kicked his goal in the last.

After beating Essendon and sitting on 3-0 the entire team must've been drinking their own bathwater, because we've been awful since.

Only got over the line today because it's the Eagles. Wouldn't have taken a much better team to have beaten us.

Shitful first three quarters but the final quarter was good into a very unfavourable breeze. Definitely looks like we flicked a switch at 3/4 time.

Heeney and Gulden were excellent, McDonald was our most dangerous forward and could have had 3-4.

Bye coming at a good time. Take the momentum and mindset of that last quarter, learn from it and build on it.

Agree 100 percent. The version of JMac that is very happy with himself is not worth shit to us. The gut running, fearless ball winner who executes with purpose is worth its weight in gold.
