Out: Mackay (inj), Cameron (managed/omitted)
In: Gallucci, Seedsman

I'd be fine with Milera instead of Seedsman tbh, it's pretty line-ball. I feel Gallucci will work harder defensively, which will be required against the hard-running Bombers outfit, which gets him the nod over either of the other two.

Feels like Charlie just needs a spell to get his head right.

So Cameron, Mackay and Talia are all sore, so I'm assuming they all miss.

Ins:
Milera, Seedsman and Otten.

Not bad ins at all

It's kinda ironic that Mackay was so durable during a few year period of time where he constantly put in below AFL level performances, yet gets injured during a month or so period where he's been playing some very good football.

Hopefully it's not too serious, and is good to go next week.

If not:

Out: Mackay
In: Seedsman

I'll cling to the hope Cameron and Talia pull up.

Absolutely we should.

Talia this week for instance there is absolutely no reason to play him.

Betts and B Crouch looked great after a week off but neither were a proactive decision made by the club. Just a spin off benefit of injury/illness.

It's rare to find yourself in the position we are and we shouldn't squander it.

I wouldn't rest players until we have top 2 secure. After that, go nuts

i am very scared tbh

They will have Fantasia and Merrett out.

Don't be afraid, enjoy this and remember it. This club had one of it darkest moments in July 2015 but from that moment this group has had one mission and it will be accomplished. That I have no doubt and when it does, we will all be together was one. Its why "We fly as one" - the players, the club, its members and supporters.

As we saw today, a fit and fresh Betts and B Crouch makes it more likely that we'll get top two

That's the problem and why we never have in the past - we always just need to win a couple more games, then we'll start doing some smart player management. A few wins, couple of losses... still scrapping for whatever benchmark we were shooting for. Oh, it's the end of the season and we missed our chance.

I don't know if that's going to fill poor HirdsTheWord with any confidence whatsoever. ;)

The poster is a Bomber fan.
Different type of scared.

Err...he or she barracks for the Dons and so he/she should be scared.

Edit: Whoops, beaten to the punch.

It's unfortunate you haven't managed to watch a game this year. Your membership would be welcomed over at Port where they appreciate bandwagon supporters.

It's unfortunate you don't know much about football. Let me help you, Mackay adds nothing to the team.
Your type would do well over at Alberton. Go give it a try. You'll like it!

There are very few players with Mackays workrate, and drive, that don't become stars...

Ha, would be surprised if you have ever touched a football. Go back and watch his game against the pies, it will be the first time you have watched it so it should be interesting viewing for you, champ.

I've always been in favor of this in the past, but now with the pre-finals bye i'm not sure we need to?

If we win the next two then the West Coast game will be a dead rubber - not sure 2 weeks off is beneficial, but option will hopefully be there for anyone who needs it.
