Interesting that we need lots of talls up forward to handle all West Coast's tall, marking defenders. According to Nicks

But when he has a gander up the other end of the ground he is happy to go small

Soft option.

McAdam has been seven shades of sh*te, but it's what you'd expect us to do.
Nope it's absolutely the right call, WA lad playing in front of some of his family, every reason to perform.

Vader so assuming those he improves sufficiently on those intangibles (make contests, compete, bust a gut, etc.) what would you see as the expected statistical output (disposals? goals? tackles? other?) for him to succeed in the role as 3rd key forward? For reference below are his career, by season, averages.

I want to see him averaging at least 11-12 disposals per game, playing as a forward (more if he's spending time in the midfield). I want to see him averaging at least 1.5 goals per game, and kicking at least 1 goal 3 out of every 4 weeks.

For tackles and pressure acts, we should be looking at what Tex has achieved this year (I'm on my tablet now, so it's not easy for me to look these up).

Thank christ we are actually playing out of contract kids instead of just delisting them without ever seeing them at AFL level

Let's hope this isn't a Ben Davis trip to Geelong sort of debut for Ronin
Wait, we delisted Davis after his debut match vs Geelong? When did this happen?

Agenda pushing, much?

The two statements are not related

Good to see we are trying all our AFL listed players. Not pulling a Matt Signorello, or Harry Wigg, or Harry Dear where we decide they aren't up to it without ever seeing them at the level.

At the same time I hope this isn't a situation like Ben Davis where we bring him in for a token game then drop him. He needs a block of games to show what he has

Are you really this dumb? McAdam is a small/medium sized forward who is available to be selected when we literally have no other depth options available.

He will come in, and rightly so, along with a shuffle of other players.
Newchurch, dumbarse.

Looking forward to McAdam hiding behind a defender for 2 hours as if he's going to take mark of the year.

And if he doesn't perform again, which is likely.... Then what ??

Newchurch isn't really an option though, not yet.

I'm sorry, but I don't have any issue at all with delisting players without ever selecting them at AFL level. It happens at every club, every year. Some kids just don't make it.

Please don't lie, and suggest that there was no link between the two statements. You were clearly using the second as an example of the first. The second makes no sense without the context of the first. You got shown up. Own it!

Rest is relative.

No contact or game, but still close to full cardio loads.

Travel is relevant too I think, given the games in Perth and no SANFL it would be likely we'd take a couple of extras over as well?
Worrell if not selected I'd still take him over for the experience.

Bold of you to call me a liar with no evidence.

Why would anyone think the first was an example of the second? Davis is still on our list

I know you are a very passionate supporter
I questioned your seriousness because in your ORIGINAL post
1. You suggested Knarlin Ned needed 3 weeks off. Neither you and I belong to the Crows medical team and concussion specialists follow the protocols
2. You suggested that Ned was not important to our team. Well he has demonstrated that he is
Growing and developing
He is going to be hard to replace

Regards
Anyone that has a concussion like his should have the 12 days which is 2 weeks from the original concussion plus an extra week. I'm no doctor but I do know that rushing back a skinny kid is bloody stupid and dangerous especially when we are a bottom side. You wouldn't rush an experienced player back even if we are contending. One more concussion within a short period could be the end of his career.

Ned is a fringe player who is finding his way. We don't have great depth in his position due to a number of factors but he is doing enough to hold his position at present. I think we will be alright without Ned McHenry for an extra week. Carrying on as though he is integral to winning and losing is embarrassing.

Pretty much any sports physio or physician will tell you strapping joints is >90% psychological. If you rest players with strapping Butters would never have debuted.

Fog needs to be averaging 12-15 disposals per game if he's playing in the forward line.

LOL. Like two days apart.

& will the 2 key Weagles tall defenders be back from injury?
