Believe it or not we are actually the 2nd best center clearance team in the comp. We are dead last in stoppage clearances though where the Suns are 2nd. So kick goals and keep the ball moving in play and we should be rightYep - we’ve won the clearances 8 out of 15 games this year. And won clearances 6 of last 9 games. Yes, destroyed us out of the centre square last game, but that was through NicNat’s brilliance more than anything…he’s not playing this week.

Sonsie big wraps from Morris for his performance on Sunday. Coach was very happy that he’s improving the contested and defensive part of his game .Get Sonsie in. Seems to always be clean in the wet so should love it up @ moist Metricon. Steve Morris defintiely pumped him up the most in the VFL report.
In: Sonsie, Prestia, Miller
Out: Dusty, Ross, Vlastuin
Which is odd. His whole career up until about 6 weeks ago he seemed to be pretty good defensively but got bugger all off the ball.....now he's getting a ton of it and getting comments about his contest stuffSonsie big wraps from Morris for his performance on Sunday. Re Miller, he’s attacking game is awesome atm, getting big numbers for a kpd, and use’s it really well. Morris did highlight though his one on ones and aerial stuff still needs to go up a level for AFL.

Chol is breathing a sigh of relief Nick is out this week. Nothing worse than a digit up the clacker when trying to contest a high ball.
I reckon the criticism is warranted though. Miller doesn’t always crash packs and kill the ball in the air which he should be doing at 197cm/98kg.Which is odd. This isnt the game to blood a skinny kid.
We're talking about Gold Coast, not the Dees or Cats. Rowell, Anderson and Miller aren't exactly huge. Prestia will be back. He'd be fine.Debut Sonsie vs North’s spuds
Not vs Witt’s, Miller, Rowell and Anderson in a 50/50 must win game
He's surprised me. I had him being de-listed this year but he might have earned himself another year by showing he can playing a more attacking game. I wouldn't be surprised if someone like the Dogs pinched him as a free agent though.I reckon the criticism is warranted though. Miller doesn’t always crash packs and kill the ball in the air which he should be doing at 197cm/98kg.
Agree re his attacking game though, he’s running and carrying like a medium sized hbf. Kicking is fantastic too. As you say seems to have blossomed in that area in the last 6-8 weeks
Yeah maybe you’re rightWe're talking about Gold Coast, not the Dees or Cats. Rowell, Anderson and Miller aren't exactly huge. Prestia will be back. He'd be fine.
