Soldo has to go. The problem is who becomes the 2nd ruck with Balta out. It seems weve gone to Riewoldt lately, but he is awful in the ruck and too slow around the contest. Cant really go back to Pickett as hes playing too well.

Ryan will eventually be an upgrade on Soldo but is not ready yet, Soldo despite his deficiencies is bigger, stronger and better option until Balta is ready to go.

When the coaches sit down for player reviews I cannot for the life of me see how they could be positive about Georges effort today. His basic skills are below VFL standard, yes he is a role player but i don't think the role he originally played well still exists. We just need more from a forward than speed, he is a liability with ball in hand and just doesn't hurt the opposition often enough.

I literally have hands over face every time he gets the ball and wonder how he he will duck it up this time, should be called Calamity Costanza. Probably directly gave WC 3 goals today from his clangers. How the selectors can continue to justify his inclusion after today is beyond me.

It’s always been the case that opposition teams are happy when the ball is the hands of players that can’t kick/handball. They put little work into these guy’s because they know more often than not the ball comes straight back to them.

It is what it is. After last week, I’m happy that we ended up winning this one let alone by 35 points. What concerns me though is how much we concede when momentum is against us. Every team has those moments, but this happens to us almost every week unfortunately.

West Coast’s full-strength midfield with Naitanui were always going to be an issue for us without Prestia, Cotchin, and Martin for a half. But the fact that it’s this much of a problem shows us how ordinary our midfield depth is.

Yep he has to. I saw him having some kicks at qtr time with a trainer and he looked proppy and sore af. I think it’s over, hope he gets his hip replacement and enjoys a good quality of life. Love to keep him in as a development coach

Eagles were much better than last time we played them. Put Balta Cotch and Meatball in that lineup with Dusty's hunger back and we will be a genuine threat come finals. If we had today's level of umpiring last week we would be knocking on the top 4 right now.
