So many missed chances today kept them in it for longer. Bad kicking is bad footy. But they did come to play for 3ish quarters.

In reality this was a 10+ goal thumping with the amount of scoring shots we had. Umpiring was terrible as well.

Someone I know on FB (Collingwood supporter) just joked that next year the AFL will reduce the game to 3 periods instead of 4 quarters. Obviously implying that it would be bad for the Tigers.

If that were the case:

• Richmond finish 2017 in 1st position with 17 wins and 5 losses. (Win Bulldogs, Giants and Sydney games, lose to the Demons)
• Still beat Geelong in the QF
• Still beat GWS in the PF
• Still beat Adelaide in the GF
• Start 2018 with 5 wins and 1 loss (no changes)

No such warning today, just straight penalty!

I didn't get to the game today, and listened to the first qtr on the radio in the car... Paul Roos was going off at the umpires, and then watching the remainder of the game on TV I couldn't believe some of the calls and missed calls (both ways to be fair). Was a shocker!

Had full confidence that we'd run over the top of them just like against the Dees, and just like our three finals wins last year. hell of a formula we've got running! I LOVE IT!!

I think its because if your a player coming up to the mark set by the making player, and then go right over by more than a metre then they penalise it. Imo it appeared we did this twice.
