They're also playing better and multiple talls trouble us.
Our backline can handle multiple talks. They may have improved slightly, but do have we. Plus we're better than they are. Much better. If we're switched on we'll hammer them.

Blessed by the Cardinal?
Let us pray O God, the Creator, of all things, You ordained that Your only Son should take flesh of the Virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit for the restoration of your people and You deigned to heal the wounds and infirmities of our souls by the redemption accomplished upon the sacred and glorious wood of the life-giving Cross: do You also vouchsafe through this powerful sign to restore health to Your servant N. Through the same Christ our Lord. R. Amen.

Let us pray Lord Jesus Christ, You conferred upon the master, blessed Benedict, the privilege of obtaining from You whatsoever he might ask in Your name: vouchsafe, through his intercession, to heal all the infirmities of this Your servant: in order that, being restored to health, he (she) may give thanks to Your holy name.

You live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. R. Amen.

The Blessing Through the invocation of the Immaculate Mother of God and ever Virgin Mary, and the intercession of Saints Benedict and Maurus, may the Power + of God the Father, the Wisdom + of God the Son, and the Strength + of the Holy Spirit free you from your infirmities. Amen.

Well posted :thumbsu:...right on the money!
It's a beautiful thing to be a Richmond supporter...
A little part of me at the moment finds life good! Is wonderfully happy! I feel invincible and all powerfull...untouchable and can do no wrong...it's totally illogical I know and i love it...the superiority i currently now feel over other footy team supporters is glorious! I love it!
That little part of me that has waxed and waned for well over 50 years mirroring the fortunes of my beloved club..shrivelled...grown...shrivelled again...many nascent false dawns then the gurgler...near extinction then resurgence...my club through thick and thin!
Half way through 2017 i had the strangest feeling we could go all the way...and i was quietly confidant...and expectant...
This year i know/feel we are good enough to...but whether we will makes me feel a tad anxious and at the same time excited...
B2B how glorious would that be!
In my time i have been lucky to see some very good sides...and the ones that come easily to my mind cos they stand out so...are Collingwood under Malthouse/Buckley...Essendon under Sheedy/Hird...Brisbane Lions under Lethal...the rest don't trouble my memories at all...well maybe Footscray!
Since that surge half way through 2017 till now we have lost one game! We are a good side!
We go B2B we will be a very good side up there with the best of all time!
This current side! This current side is amazing...the players are amazing...so many Champions excelling...i am besotted with joy...
We have witnessed so many players flower into champions in this side...Rance...Reiwoldt...Cotch...Dusty...and they still keep coming in Sheds...Rioli...Nanks...Caddy...Lambert...Houli...Grimes....Astbury...Floss...Prestia...Broad...Kmac...Graham...Conca...Butts...Shorty...CEllis...Towna...and now we have...Georgie boy who looks to be growing into a beauty!
It truly is amazing that this GF side still has players blossoming in talent...just quietly bubbling away..
As supporters we are so priviledged to see this wonderful side strutt it's stuff!
A champion team choc full of champion players currently in the zone and firing!
I know it's illogical but currently this Tiger side makes life look so fine and good...
It's a beautiful thing to be a Richmond supporter! :)
Geelong Under Thompson were pretty good too

sorry should have said kissed on the dick

Yes they were good...but those Geelong sides don't come to mind as easily as the others...
Best team I've seen Geelong '07. Not that dissimilar to us right now.

Thanks. I was worried you might have forgotten part of it.

I love how the MB constantly say we are lucky with injuries. I reckon pretty much every player he mentioned, bar Drummond and Rioli, would play this weekend if it was a do or die final. Instead Grigg, Prestia and Markov i'm guessing wont play due to the ultra cautious nature of our medical staff. And we've been ultra cautious for a long time, we constantly give players like Grimes, Astbury, Cotchin, Prestia, Caddy, Vlastuin etc... a week off if they have a niggle or an extra week or 2 on the sidelines when they come back from a longer term injury. It's just good management on behalf of the medical staff and it is paying dividends.

Conversely it always seems other clubs are rushing players back, Buddy is meant to be back this week despite reports of a few more weeks originally, Selwood was rushed back from his leg, Pendles another who is now coming back this week and i'm sure you could go on and on. I know these guys are stars and sometimes you roll the dice with them but i reckon it happens a lot with best 22 players

Whenever I hear this "lucky with injuries" crap...

I remind myself of Nathan Brown's broken leg and I grimace...

My eyes go distant as I recall Mark Coughlan's knee reconstructions...

I smile as I picture Nathan Foley streaking away from packs in his AA year, then spit at the ground as I remember his ankle soon after...

I become hot with anger as my mind casts back to Richo just missing a Brownlow, then tearing his hammy off the bone the following year...

Then I smile again as I think of young star Rioli and our 2017 Premiership, only to feel a sharp pang as I remember it cost him a broken foot...

Prior to Rioli, all these messiahs taken away when we had nothing else to enjoy...

We finally have our time now. We still have had injuries this year and last year, but it's now OUR damn time to have some good fortune...

Yeah... The main board can go eat a dick.

Cheers :)

You either pay too much attention at Mass or have served time at the priest factory!

For some others it's more like this:

"Bless me Father for I have...Oi, hang on. You can't do that. No I won't."

Don't forget Dermott Hasbeen smashing Tony Free's jaw.
