Was an amazing day to be at the ground - the electricity in the air and a smell of finals footy in September.

Peter Burge deserves huge credit for having them ready to go and being able to run and compete like they are late into a season. The athletic profile of the group is superb.

Calsher Dear had his breakout today - 12 touches, 3 goals and was in everything.
Watsons ability to impact contests and harass opposition is tremendous.
Dylan Moore continues to ooze class.
Harry Morrison comes in as the late sub and does a fantastic job.
Massimo D’Ambrosio is so sure with the ball in hand and makes great choices.
Nash crashing in at every opportunity adds grunt to our midfield.
Worpels kicking into the 50 is a thing of beauty.
Weddle lighting up the MCG will be something to enjoy for the next decade.
Hardwick, Frost and Scrimma didn’t take a backward step all day and never stopped competing.
Gunners footy iq continues to bring others into the game.
Frenchie showed why he has a huge future ahead of him.
Imoey is just superb - his defensive work rate is huge and in attack he makes the right choices.

Two games to go, but you can feel the anticipation and momentum continuing to build!

We broke Carlton today.
We broke their lippy supporters even more. Imagine thinking you finally had a shot of getting some revenge after two decades of torment. And then just like that, the illusion is gone.

We played well but Carlton are just 100% cooked. We should have won by more and I hope it doesn't cost us a finals chance.

Loved Weddle. He can literally play anywhere and excel
Dear has a great leap and grab. Needs to work on kicking however
Newcombe was a bull

Really starting to look like a good team and not just an average team in good form
