To quote a North poster in their gameday thread before we kicked the last four goals of the game:
"what you're witnessing right now lads, is the future of this footy club.

I accidentally posted in their thread instead of the main board and had a good laugh when I saw that post

So last week the captain stands up to win us the game late. This week the captain stands up late to win us the game #chefskiss

Oscar Allen 5 goals and 4 f50 groundball gets from the big fella!

Jeremy McGovern 13 intercept possessions (5 of those intercept marks) and 10 spoils playing a lone hand as the sole KPD.

Elliot Yeo kicks 2 goals from midfield (so important) that were blinders both of them.

Jack Darling 3 contested marks.

Tim Kelly 9 tackles and 34 pressure acts.

Liam Ryan 3 goal assists.

Reid's mark even on a down day.

Trew inspired from his mum winning a gold medal kicks another goal and behind Kelly in pressure acts.

NEGATIVES

Jake Waterman took 4 marks on the lead, this is actually a very big amount due to how strict stats are on counting marks on the lead. He kicked 1.4 when both the Coleman as well as an AA spot are up for grabs. This is the biggest negative.

Forward 50 efficiency was 73.8%. That is ridiculous. Above 60 is great above 70 incredible. Nth went at 45.8.

Intestinal fortitude was amazing.

Umpiring was near on cheating.
Cripps no 50 for the most cut and dry one you will ever see only for a few minutes later other end a ticky touch one is paid.

Last week and this week lay some good foundations for what it takes to win.

flipping great game.
Nth in Tassie, haha 😄

Cripps may not quite be the player he was and has certainly fallen away the last month or so. But geez does he still have a knack of being in the dangerous spot and popping up when needed.
Even in his "shit games" he's there, always involved. Like last week he was pretty average but he found it 22 times from the high half forward position and stayed in the game. He's so important to Dewar and Long's development (although I hope Long can become a mid if Ginbey doesn't).

Oh Jesus Christ

I woke up to that this morning and spat out at least three cups of tea until I stopped laughing, every angle and every section you see is worse than the last one.
Sweet Baby Jebus.

Well I just checked afl.com to see what time we were playing expecting Sunday graveyard - realised we were already playing - accidentally saw the score and thought funk it - ill just watch the last quarter and a half.
