Lol? Was just offering an opinion that I didn't think it was a particularly natural action. You saw it as a massive positive, but really it fits more into the Nathan van below category of act than chris judd or luke hodge or dusty martin imo, but just an opinion, don't get too excited 😃

I think abab's post that perhaps he was trying to counteract that rogue reporter makes it a more natural action, so all good
Saying "Natural Action" so frequently doesn't seem like a common occurrence.. but that's just me (naturally)

Keep digging.

I'm someone who encourages people to make things happen.

I like this in someone's character, so unlike you, I see it as a massive positive that he will leave no stone unturned to be successful.

Others wait for success & it never comes!
I think your last sentence finally resonated with old McLeod from 50 (whilst playing for Poort Magpies)

Chris Judd changed the trade period landscape

Was one of the fist players who visibly toured other clubs during trade period and actually nominated a club

What is now seen as the norm to nominate a club - Judd was the first player to take this pathway, and at the time was heavily criticised for doing so

Certainly a high profile case but definitely many instances before that. Plugger flying to Sydney and deciding he wanted out of the limelight mid 90’s. Other examples even Nick Steven’s in 2004 nominating Pies which didn’t end too well.

Don't think quoting my own post is a good idea, but just dawned on me that is a lot of people in a room given we had no flexibility to do anything but select based upon talent order at 4 and then grab Welsh. Roos coughed up unbelievable value to nab a player near 30, what were all those people doing when that went down?

Who’s going to end up captain out of Sid and Max ? Going to be a tight call

Has Max captained? Sid is the most natural young leader I have seen in the AFL in recent years. Both on and off field from what I have now seen and researched

How many 17yo can pull this off? Already acting and sounding like an AFL captain

Draper has a very broad shoulder, I can see him develop his body to allow him to shrug tackle and then add this with his explosive burst speed.

Draper went to my lads school and I recall early in the year seeing him walk into school and being surprised at the shoulders on him. He will develop into a very powerful unit

Thankful what Josh Money "reported" was complete BS and Draper want out of his way to tell our coach it was completely BS?
Yes, that's excellent, anyone who was even remotely switched on knew the Draper reports were absolute bullshit.

I'm looking forward to to Draper playing for us.

Normally existing players get 1st choice for changing.

So spare numbers are...
18 - was Stengle
25 - was McHenry
28 - was N Murray
33 - was Himmelberg
36 - was McPherson
37 - was Parnell
42 --was Cameron
44 - was Gollant
Apparently Karl Gallagher is 36 based on the website team list.
