Saw comments like "who is going around sticking red squares everywhere".

Not just on this post specifically, but they've come under a bit of criticism for focusing their current pre-season promotions on Melbourne based material and so folks are rightly asking, "why aren't you doing anything Gold Coast based?"

Not sure whose rebranding is worse: Gold Coast or Jaguar?
Jaguar, for all their issues, still has a cache and rich motor sports history with such as the E type, the Silkcut etc and the like.

GCS has a plastic shit ness - however they both needed govt support and bail outs.

Jaguar needs the Jag head back and the art tossers that rebranded it need to be fired out of a cannon... twice.

Gold Coast saw the manufactured push for a rivalry with Collingwood that GWS has done and said, "YES PLEASE"

Meanwhile Collingwood sitting there like:

North could have had 20 free kicks to 1 in the first quarter and they still would have lost the match by over 90.

But if the biggest upset of all time happened, and North beat us in that 2007 QF, they would then have to beat the Pies at the MCG in the PF (they lost to the Pies at the MCG in the only game they played against each other) before playing Port in the GF (Kangas lost to Paer during the season and got spanked in the PF as well).

What makes Johnny think they were overturning all those results?

And also why does Johnny think they would face Port in the GF? In all likelihood we lose the QF, beat Hawks then Port in the SF and PF, then batter North in the GF.

Don’t know who needs to hear this, but find someone who likes Neil Balmes through his time at the tigers and throw this at them

That's quite amazing because remember, Balme played alongside absolute champions and literally one of the toughest players ever (McLean) and coached against the best players of the 90's.

I will never forget the day when Selwood got knocked out against Hawthorn and when he was on the ground in the hands of the doctor and trainers, he still had the awareness to worry about the game in play and was barking orders to senior players jogging nearby.

That was Selwood in a nutshell.
