I love Pendles and he’s still performing at a reasonable level but had dropped off a bit, this is potentially a Buddy 2023 situation.

In Round 12, 2008 they were 10-1-1 and were sitting 3rd. Round 15 they were 13-1-1 and still only 2nd.

It would be pretty demoralising barracking for them
I thought that when Worsfold coached them they were on the crest of something , once maybe twice they flogged us at the MCG , about 10 goals to 3 h/time their way , we couldnt keep up , they looked like they were going to be a really good team then
The 1970s was probably the bleakest period of their history , but the past 2 decades have surpassed that
