The Hawthorn game will always be amazing for the fapworthiness of it, but the full throttle play we brought tonight easily makes it the best win of the season.

Loved completely negating the avalanche in the third quarter.

Caldwell is going to be a ripper and the midfield looked more balanced tonight. They seem to work a lot better defensively and get better / deeper and more direct ball into the forward line.

Great effort all round really and was a good game to watch too. Happy for my boy Wright to have a strong game in his 100th - Hind was massive tonight as well. Young team will take a lot out of that. Just goes to show Massimo effort Massimo reward.

I get it and would love him in our side. We denied them use of ball most of the night and he had to come a long way up the ground searching for the ball. That said, we did a great team defence job. But in the end, if the midfield lets opposition bring it in easily, quality forwards will destroy you.

Our half back line just clicked and probably first time this year they all played vwell together. Maybe adding a new guy that can play fills on the puzzle.

Should have known we'd win tonight since I couldn't watch it or go due to other commitments. I lost radio reception at halftime and when it came back on we were even after being 28 points up. Thought, here we go again. Then to my surprise, we kicked the next six. Lucky I had a reception the rest of the way home, otherwise, we might have lost.

Based on the call alone and not stats or anything, sounded Redman and Perkins were our best, with Hind, Lav and Rid also great.

Draper has really improved these last few weeks, clunking marks and kicking goals.

Jones back has been immense for our forward line, suddenly we have two guys to bring the ball to ground and while we may not have natural small forwards we still snagged a few.

I thiught Redman spot could come under trouble a bit this year, he was dropped the previous year but boy i got that wrong and hes become a serious players.

Question: Can he be the leader? ie Captain? Is playing like one now and a half back is never a bad spot for a captain
