We definitely lack a goal scoring midfielder. Since Danger left the only midfielder to kick 20+ goals was Sloane in 2017.

How many did Rankine kick last year playing predominantly as a mid? 29 I think.

The more I think about it we have plenty of class and really need the bull at a gate with athletic traits Draper to compliment what we have

I’m not saying he hasn’t got any class but it’s not the first thing that comes to mind

Dawson should be kicking 20+ a year too and he might next year

Now that’s tough , would like to answer after 1 more year as leaning toward TT but I couldn’t be confident yet

Loaded question because it depends what we need as both are potential stars of the comp so the talent is there - Mids win flags, but big key forwards do as well

That would be me. Eagles were one of the clubs and why that Baker trade has never made any sense, especially given they didn't need to do it to get the trade done.

FWIW if I was a PAP fan I wouldn’t be too upset with drafting Berry at that pick - in isolation, at least. Getting Berry and Lukosius for Houston, as a team wanting to contend, is admittedly rough, though

They gave a F1 for Lukosius which look like at least pick 8 given their draw and potential a top 5 pick.

In regards to JHF vs Draper, I'm glad we got the footyheads thinking man in Draper. Given how complicated our gameplan is I would much rather have Draper than JHF. The latter seems bull at a gate and that's it, and that works well in their gameplan but would potentially equal burning all your team mates and or running yourself in to trouble in ours.

Also, try again, is this Joe Berry dude any relation to our Sam Berry? Where's mutineer when you need him? What the hell did those guys do for so many bans to get slapped on.

Possible, but I do think if you're Adelaide, you're eying off a third - or fourth - small forward role for Pedlar. He's shown a fair bit in the way of goalkicking.



Fremantle wasted Fyfe, so it's certainly possible (and to be fair, they did make a grand finals). Having a player like JHF at peak will make winning a flag much easier, though.

After all, Richmond built a dynasty of Martin + a decent supporting cast.

I agree JHf might win a B/low but you need a helluva lot more than one superstar to make GFs and win them.

I think it’s the ability to go forward and kick 2-3 goals to help ice game

It’s a unique and important trait

Robbie Gray did it to us too but was more a forward then mid

I think JHF will never have the maturity to do what you are saying, his career will end up more Jake Stringer. He was nothing special in the finals and had more than a few games where he acted like a spoiled kid
