This is the kind of game that really makes you wonder…

9 goals for the game under the roof.If not for the dubious umpiring in the first half, Port would have won this by 10 goals.
To be fair to Carlton they’ve blamed every loss on injuries this year, but then you look at the injury sheet and it’s all Z-graders. This time, however, they had some genuine talent missing.Imagine, if only you had that 1 more day break, you'd win!
Only, football results don't work that way. No mention of this being Carltons 3rd loss from 4 attempts. Outclassed on your own deck to a travelling team.
Complaints about the 5 day break are f*cking hilarious given Carlton played at Marvel last week against North and haven’t left Melbourne for a month, while Port were in Adelaide last week (albeit not a huge flight) and were up at GC the week before.5 day break?! cry me a river Brown - has happened often to Freo this year, and they keep having to fly!
Who were you missing? Marshall and McEntee? Can we bring our outs in too? Or are injuries only counted to Carlton?
I don’t think any reasonable person thought that was a goal - have you been to a game? Every supporter base is full of low socioeconomic fat idiots that cry about everything
Who were you missing? Marshall and McEntee?
They are out for the yearPowell-Pepper, Finlayson…
if you count Jack Martin who never plays more than half a season and when he does it’s 10 touches 1 goal a game,

Picked itPort by the same distance SOS parks from Ikon park when he picks SOJ up from training.
I agree, it's great seeing Carlton lose and all but that decision was wrong. The ball had to have crossed the line before hitting the umpire for it to be a goal. If it did not cross the line and then hit the umpire and then hit the post before crossing the line it is a point.you cant call that a goal, it never even crossed the line before hitting the post , if the ball had stayed in play it would have been called play on, the fact it hit the post afterwards means that it should have been called as hitting the post
Was an easy call. We went too hard in the first. Lost a runner early for another inside mid.
Oh, so they're not the only team thenAs far as I can tell, Carlton are the only team to be scheduled for a 5 day break all season outside of Thursday matches
