Not going to part with a pick 6, for a top 5 draft pick having played 76 games and 22 this season. You’re drinking some good stuff if you think that steak knives or anything else is going to get Cerra. Shouldn’t be in our best interests at all to trade with Carlton. North is the better option with more cap and picks to give.
It’s pick 6 and next year's first. Anything else you’re dreaming. Saad is a first rounder and change? Yet Cerra isn’t? Keep contradicting yourself.

Never said that I think Cerra isn't worth a top 6 pick at this moment in time (he's worth more than that), but that after we were completely folded in the Saad trade the club will think twice about it, especially with the talent available elsewhere. At the moment Cerra is showing enough to suggest he'll develop into a gun mid in the future and Freo should absolutely be demanding multiple first-rounders and would be crazy to accept anything below a top 5 pick for him considering where he was drafted.
However, I'm fearful that this could be one of the situations that happened to us last year, where if we were to give Freo pick 6 + our 2022 first, it could come back to haunt us again if he doesn't come on as we hope (which seems to happen with a lot of players we trade for). Then, we see someone like Narkle go to another club such as North for a 3rd-4th round pick, and thrive there.
Saad absolutely wasn't worth what we paid for him, even at the time, and whilst Cerra probably would be worth 6 and next year's first now to Freo, imo it's far too risky for us trade ourselves out of the first round for two years for a player who we HOPE could be a star for us in the future.
I tend to agree that if Freo wants two first-rounders, North would be their club. They've got almost nothing to lose, given they're still in the stage of developing players.
